    I would have to say the best Apple Turnovers in Los Angeles.
    Might be best I've ever had. I don't care where I am in LA. But I would defiantly make the trip for these Turnovers.
    I didn't get anything else. But the Woman at counter so pleasant and nice.

    This a must go place.

    I always love the hot pandesal. They ran out  fast so u better be there in the morning. They also have the pan de ube and wheat bread. Very nice customer service always polite and friendly. Liza is amazing very nice always with a smile

    I visit Valerios for ube hopia, sometimes pan de sal, and random breadstuff to take home.  They've been consistent over the years.  I usually drop by when I'm in the area, typically when I get a haircut.  Bring cash.

    Valerios is my go-to filipino bakery back at home in the Bay Area (Union City, CA). I give this place 3 stars due to the lack of selection in comparison to the Bay Area location. However, this may be due to the fact that I usually come in the afternoon (But the Bay Area one has A LOT of selection). I always get Carioca ($1.80) and pan de sal! I also like their ube hopia ($1.20 for a giant one). It's cash only so make sure you always have a few dollars to spare each time!

    I should first say that I'm really picky when it comes to philipino food and pastries.  This meets and exceeds all expectations! My out of town friends still talk about the babinka from this location! It's a bit of a hole in the wall but don't let the exterior deceive you. This place is worth stopping by for your philipino food-fix. Baked daily you can taste the freshness.
    I also purchased empanadas and pandisol  
    BRING  CASH  They so not take cards
    It's a stop and go so there's not a place to eat your yummies. The price is fair and so worth every penny!
    Friendly gal at the registers. All around 5 star
